you've realized that the traditional wedding thing...

But then reality sets in.
Because even when you’re not doing a traditional wedding… there’s still planning. And decisions. And questions you didn’t know you were supposed to ask. You’ve never planned a micro wedding or an intimate celebration like this before, so suddenly you’re wondering how it all fits together and if you’re doing it “right.”
(You are. By the way.)

If you’re craving a wedding day that feels more like home than a ballroom, more like a heartfelt gathering than a formal event, and you want someone in your corner who fully understands that vision from the start…

So instead, you’re choosing something more intentional.
Maybe it’s a backyard wedding at your childhood home, a cozy micro wedding somewhere meaningful, or a day that feels less like a production and more like a reunion with your favorite humans.
The kind of day where everyone actually talks to each other.
Where the food is sooo good. Where the laughter is loud. Where it feels relaxed, warm, and deeply personal.
Maybe there’s a dog underfoot. Maybe there’s no schedule at all.
Perfection.

just isn't your vibe

The idea of a guest list full of strangers, rigid timelines, and a day that feels more like a performance than a celebration?
 Yeah. Hard pass.
You’re not trying to throw a fancy party for people you barely know.
You’re trying to get married.
To your person.
In a way that actually feels like you.

you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

I come from an event planning background, which means I know how wedding days actually unfold. When to gently guide. When to disappear into the background. And how to pivot without making it a whole thing when plans change. Your emotions always come first, and my goal is to photograph you as you truly are. Not stiff. Not posed. Not performing. Just you, in your element, with your people.

I was adopted from China, and that experience deeply shaped how I see the world. It gave me a profound appreciation for chosen family, for the meaning of home, and for the quiet power of community. That’s a big reason why I’m so drawn to intimate weddings. Days that feel personal. Familiar. Safe. The kind of celebrations where everyone belongs and the focus is on connection, not spectacle.

I’ve lived in Boise my whole life, and the values I carry with me are simple but important: inclusivity, empathy, and compassion. I believe wedding days should feel welcoming, unrushed, and fully yours. Outside of photography, you’ll find me chasing good food, going to concerts, taking long walks, and having way-too-long phone calls with friends. The simple stuff keeps me inspired, and that calm, grounded energy is exactly what I bring with me on your wedding day.

how i show up for you

Where your day feels like home.

After Your Wedding:
You'll receive images that feel alive - not strangers in photos but you in your best moments.
Photos that bring you back to your day, exactly as it felt.

Before Your Wedding:
We’ll chat about what matters most to you, your love story, and the vibe you want for your day.
Together, we’ll create a timeline that feels easygoing and fun — no stress, no rushing.
I’ll share trusted local vendors and tips from my event planning background so you feel supported every step of the way.

On Your Wedding Day:
Minimal posing, maximum candid moments.
I guide you gently, so you look and feel like yourselves.
I stay calm and flexible, ready with backup plans if anything shifts.
Your feelings always come first.
I move with the flow of your day, capturing moments you’ll actually remember — laughter, love, connection.
